With Odoh, Deng, Hammink, and possibly David Taylor, all we need is one more international and we can throw out a FIBA lineup.

I say we get Andrew Wiggins from Canada, he seems like an okay player.

Like a 'no habla' alien, or a 'take me to your leader' one?

awesome. Not as awesome as Ken Jennings referencing it on Jeopardy, but still good nonetheless.

I think he finally lost, but he made the comment when him and the other big champion played the IBM computer. I think they got beat. He made over $1MM over his run though. That makes him like the 3rd richest mormon, behind Mitt Romney and Bill Paxton's character on Big Love.

Truthfully, they may have all moved on. Don't see them much anymore. Except that MisterT fool, who has been about 10 other user names.

Firing him and hiring a significant downgrade did nothing to hush it up.

Usually the reason you have a better chance with an in state guy is that he wants to play where his parents and friends will be able to see him play. So I can't see blaming Johnny for this one.

My sentiments exactly, but TJ was blistered for not signing local kids when the crop wasn't as good as it will be in the next few years. Just saying that doesn't not getting Damien Jones make this Johnny Jones' first?

I think any criticism should be tabled until the recruiting season is over. If he lands Mickey and Martin (or another highly rated player), should he be criticized for missing out on Jones?

No.

If he whiffs on them all, then absolutely.

CJJ has been on the job for 5 months! He's had to work his tail off to get enough players to put a team on the court this coming up year. You can't blame him for not getting a recruit yet. If anything, this still falls on Trent. If Trent would have been doing his job, Jones would only have had to be reassured by CJJ that LSU was the place for him.

Now if CJJ wiffs next year on all the in state talent, then you can start blaming him.
