Very illusive with great pocket presence and delivers an accurate ball. Super athlete. Threw for 4,000+ yds.
Discuss.

Some people on here will tell you he is not a highly rated prospect because of his height. I will tell you that he is one of the most accurate passers around. He can put the ball on the money and is a pretty good athlete. I hope he will come to LSU to play baseball and be given a chance to play football here as well. Accuracy has been a real big problem with our QBs.

He's a gamer for sure, very elusive and throws a nice ball, but he's tiny.
Look forward to him playing baseball for LSU, though. Think he's already committed.

I have no problem with him walking on and competing, since he'll be here for baseball, anyway, but a Football Scholarship in 14 is too valuable to use on him. Just my opinion.

Kid is an unbelievable competitor and successful at every thing he does. Unfortunately he'll be caught up in the numbers game for this stout 2014 class. I see him being offered a preferred walkon spot. I hope to see him P&G.

Johnny Manziel is 6'0 and he didn't have a problem throwing over his line. Lineman are so much bigger these days that they are usually taller than Qbs. If height is an excuse then we would need a 6'7 or taller QB here at LSU to see over the line. Drew Brees is alot shorter than his OL as well.

Fontenot is a player. Plain and simple

Can Cameron coached Brees and Rivers and Flacco. He knows what it takes to be a successful. I will trust his recruiting offers

He's not Russell Wilson or drew Brees short..he's legit 2-3 inches shorter. And yes he scrambles a lot, so rarely he sits in the pocket to throw over OL. He is way way to short. He will get FCS offers and maybe ULM...plus we just got 2 stud qb's

Have seen him play many times. I don't question his athletic ability, but I think his accuracy looks better because of His receivers abilities to run to the ball. I've seen him over throw many wide open receivers like mett does many times. Quinn and Smith made him look good. Still great athlete and cam might make him better. Not worth a s holly in 2014 though. Motorola much other talent and qb not a necessity

Gritty. The ability to win is the most important trait IMHO. Call it being a gamer if you will but the best have it and height doesn't limit that

The kid is around 5'8". I doubt he could be a SEC caliber QB.

No doubt he is a gifted athelete.
He could be brought in as a DB in certain pass coverage schemes.

Great baseball player though. Similar to Mikie Mahtook.

5'8 aint gonna cut it. Huge difference bw a 6 ft brees/wilson/manziel.
