He's an ace recruiter. This may help with the prospects were trying to flip.

Bama machine will keep churning. But this is a LOT of turnover personell and coaching wise. Seems like this year is the best shot since 2013 we had in beating these guys.

Arguably the best recruiter they had. Can't wait to see how their fans try to spin this as a positive.

Normally I would agree, but they’ve got Tua and all the receivers back next year.

Absolutely. But Clemson showed if you get to Tua, they are beatable. All about the line play.

Looks like the narrative is he is a great recruiter but a bad DC and they are hiring chizik.

He’s the best recruiter they have besides maybe Burton Burns. Make no mistake this is a huge blow for Alabama not coaching wise but Lupoi was young and brought in all the California/Hawaii kids that litter the roster. I’m sure Pete Golding will now take on much more responsibility recruiting wise but I’m not sure Saban promotes him to fill time DC. I could see him just internally move Golding or Karl Scott up to DC in title with Saban having the real say so. it is also very probably he hired Gene Chizik to be the man.

Money recruits for bama. You honestly believe that they don't pay recruits to come to their school? They've been doing it forever and have been popped numerous times. Most recently, albert means was "encouraged" to attend Alabama and a Bama "booster" got caught giving an influencial person $150,000. That's just what they've been caught doing, and they weren't even good at the time. Lol, it doesn't matter who's the recruiter there. They will be the next school that gets busted, it may he when saba leaves, but it's going to happen to them...again. Theyre the dirtiest program in college football.

Chizik quit to spend time with his family. Doubt he wants into the saban grinder.

IMO, coaches are the “lure” to catch the BIG fish recruits at BAMA, but the REC and the “show they put on” it what reels them in ????

Working for Saban is very hard - both for coaches and admin. Know very compelling stories of his time here - as i’m sure many do, as well..

The one thing I kept saying to myself as I watched the joy of the Clemson beat down, was that Saban looked “very tired”. He’s not aging well.

Good for him!

They have a network of boosters that lure kids to bama at an early age. They not only give benefits to players and their families, but their high school coaches and other shady figures in the players recruitment as well. It's the reason why we need to land these kids from Amite this season...there's something going on there with a bama connection at that school. I'm not naive and I know how they operate. They have had Amite and the tangi area in their pocket for a while now. They filter kids through those schools...Amite ,kentwood, etc...and they will even send kids there to go play high school ball from an early age so they can get more influence on them in high school. Bama is so dirty.

I'll give the Bama group credit on this one as I read a lot of their inside stuff from here, which there's great Bama info on their SECRANT board here, BOL and a couple others and they pegged Tosh being gone for about a week now. Just not the guy they prefer and too green as a DC. They will keep Golding being but I doubt as DC.

This will hurt the Bama/Polynesian pipeline. May cost them LB Henry To'oto this cycle. Tuas popularity will help but Tosh had major pull with that group. Wish we couldve gotten him. He's a good DL coach also. He is dirty though. Has the NCAA paperwork to prove it

Quick question for you. Do you think tuas family paid for their move from fricking Hawaii to bumfrick Alabama or do you think that it is being "taken care of" lol. I know the answer already. I'm sure they got a house, cars, jobs, etc to make that move just to get those 2 boys to attend alabama.
