Love your optimism, BamaScoop. Sounds like a ton of us LSU fans leading up to the 08' season. We had weapons everywhere, but an unproven QB. But we really thought it didn't matter. Just hand the ball to the playmaking RB's, make easy short high % passes, and just manage the game. What a rude awakening. Suck it up BamaScoop, u are not going to win next year with an unproven QB. And yeah, I know we still don't really have one either. 1 game is not enough to judge what J. Jefferson will become, so we may not be all that either. But, don't get your hopes up for Bama.

It is amazing(and practically unbelievable)to have a bama fan that is rational and actually makes sense. You are one of the few bammers that post on here that is tolerable. Rueben does need to go to LSU however, b/c the JJ to RR combo will just be special.

The rueben randle sign was priceless
I'd love to know what it said..
I guess they didnt use my idea:
Finish this class with class.
Rueben Randle.

I did see some chick hold up a sign that said:
LSU <hearts> Trent Richardson.
I kept fast forwarding the game.
Had LSU got a few of those 3's that rimmed out to go, this would have been anyone's game.
I am very proud of this year's BB team..Trent is doing a great job..

Hold on there cowboy, cut ole Scoop some slack. He's just joshing around. He is actually a good poster and has a good insight except for his love of Bama. Now, if he is an Obama sucker too then it is ok to needle him, a lot.

Yeah guys, I know who scoop is, and most of the time he's fine. ...And sure I might be a bit fiesty now due to all the gump traffic that has been flying around lately. That being said... When he acts like a gump, I reserve the right to treat him like a gump.

I was thinking the same thing. It was really frustrating the way those shots kept rimming out. LSU played a great game. I wish they had been just a little more patient and hadn't missed so many FT's. Otherwise, things are looking very good.

You are right. It was successful. But hey things could turn around You said NC in 2 years. Who are you hiring after Saban?

Signs:

"Reuben Randle"
"LSU Loves Reuben Randle"
"Randle Best hands, LSU Best Fans"
"LSU + Randle = BCS Championship"
"The SEC can't handle, Lafell and Randle"

Those are all the ones I saw.

I think you'll be sick alright, sick and tired of the rest of the SEC proving that '08 was a fluke for the Tide. I mean this. Bama will have a tough defense again but I can't see the offense being as well run as it was this year. Bama wasn't a real high powered offense in '08 and I predict a falloff.

I wouldn't necessarily say '08 was a "fluke". They were able to have success that can happen when you have a decent senior QB managing the offense.

We were headed for a fall off this year without a senior QB or a phenom underclassman engineering the offense, in addition to having uncoordinated defense.

As long as you are stiff on defense and not bad on offense like, say, Tennessee or Auburn was on offense this year, you should be in the 9-10 win range.

They did lose some important folk though.

Bamascoop (i.e. Bammapoop) is an idiot.
and LSU made Saban, recruiting parity in that area will keep Bama from ever regaining championships (have not proved that they can win championships without cheating yet).
