Curious who is scheduled to attend that's on LSU's short list.

In dallas now, I am willing to bet things are being postponed. Hella-thunderstorm going on right now.

I was there, and it didn't get rained out, and was over at 12.

I was there too. Nothing really blew me away. My son is an incoming freshman QB, so I watched the QBs mainly. There were a couple of kids with really strong arms, Cam and Craig were giving pointers to a couple. Coach O was really paying a lot of attention to one of the ends, and Juluke seemed to take a liking to one of the few RBs that were at the camp! No one stood out as someone we MUST get. The one QB from Pflugerville could really sling it, but I had no idea of who was whom.

I was looking at the 2017 Top 100, and four of them go to DeSoto. My son thinks Edward Ingram was in his warm up line, but who knows. I was excited about meeting all the coaches!

My wife's son was one of the TE's you were watching. There were only 3 lol. I know the one you were watching. That guy will be a Sr next year, over hearing the dad talking about his son. Ensminger was working with our kid. He wanted his Twitter account, until he found out he was a 2018 recruit.. Lol I also saw 4 decent QB's. Tall black kid with yellow shoes. His dad sat behind me. Played 8 yrs in nfl... Last team was the Saints. Played college ball at Okie St. Didn't catch his name, as the TE's dad pretty much talked the whole time. Another good QB, was the Coppell QB with red shoes. The other 2 ... One had a cap, and the other was a tall dark headed kid, whom I thought looked the best. Jmo. Couple of good LB's Aranda was looking at. One of the 2 was built really well, and was fast. Our kid said rumor has it he's also a 2018 kid, and has been offered by LSU and several D1 schools. I gave s shout out to O and Aranda as I passed by them... That's it. Don't know if I saw Ingram either.

That one TE was a big ole boy! I liked the tall dark-haired QB too. My son was the worst QB there! He's going to play QB for us this year because we're running an Air Force-style option offense, but he's always been RB. He had by far the weakest arm their and he was a little intimidated by all the big fast guys there. After seeing there were only 6 RBs, I wish I would've signed him up there. He's only 14 so it was a good eye opener for him as far as what it takes to play at the next level. I told him that regular kids don't go to LSU, only athletic freaks!

DeSoto HS has the #4 dual-threat QB, makes me wonder if he was the dude in yellow shoes. Either way, it was a good experience for my son and I. I'm going to coach LBs and be defensive coordinator for the first time this year, so I was trying to watch all the drills and my son at the same time. I was pretty impressed with the UTSA coach that works with CBs.

Anyways, best of luck to your son!

That TE was 6'3"ish 205... Light skinned black guy..? He plays at a private school. The tall QB with yellow shoes played somewhere else. Can't remember, we were watch the 3 TE's most of the time, since her son was one of them.
