LSU has the talent and depth along the lines of scrimmage IMO

LT??? Yep, tons of talent and depth. There were even rumbles about Malone not returning to start his real career.

Center?

DL is improving for sure, but we just lost a lot too (DG early, Neal was a very underrated strong contributor). Glad we get Lac back for depth, but could have easily lost him too.

I've tried to tell everyone, we can forget about getting kids from Amite or Kentwood for the forseeable future.
right, just throw in the towel on top recruits from LA, and not recruit at all?? That's just plain asinine because it's still LA (put that fence back up), just because a couple of recruits from there chose Gumpville doesn't mean that these other kids will be like them. These kids have their own minds and agendas and want to be different, not followers. You just recruit harder and let them know they're wanted which is the main issue with these kids, they want to feel that you really want them bad. Devonta Smith was an idiot imo for choosing Bama with talking about how he wants to play in a dynamic offense that passes the ball, well, you can't see that LSU is about to have that with Matt Canada?? lol In the meantime you choose Bama who has just hired their what, 3rd OC in a year's time? And Alabama has never had a dynamic passing offense, so he'll find out, I don't think he was all that anyways, Devonta Lee may turn out to be better, him and Terrace Marshall, you gotta get them. I would rather LSU have resigned Brandon Martin than sign Devonta Smith, keep getting those big, fast and physically talented WR's.

but you can't let a stud DLineman like Sopsher go to Alabama. Not 5 star talent that keeps Bama on top, hell no!

I never said to not recruit them. It's a steep, uphill climb for LSU with kids in that area because of what they hear around town. Just don't get your hopes up with any of them is all I'm saying. Would love to get sopsher and Lee.
