Coach O stated that he might be able to get Key to come back another season because of the slow start he has had. It was in one of his interviews I cant remember exactly when he said it. Key’s draft stock has taken a major hit this year.

Don't expect Guice to be gone....
He is having a subpar year, now this isn't his fault, but injuries to him and the offensive line are the main culprit.....

Business side of the fence - HE STAYS
Leaving would be a Malachi Dupree decision (would be a bad bad bad business decision)

All Guice needs is a couple good games to close out the season to show that he was hindered by injury early.

Dupre wasnt considered a top player at his position, ever. Another year makes no difference there. Guice is still considered a top back in the country. Apples and oranges.

Any reason? He will probably be a 1st round pick. I dont think he is that good, but after workouts his stock will be high.

I just wish people would stop with the Brennen talk about next year. If you know anything about football and really watched our offense a healthy and accurate Narcisse would be the perfect fit in this offense. Narcisse is most probably one of the top five runners on the team right now. If he can get accurate and stay healthy I don't know who else saw him play but he is a grown man right now add another year strength and conditioning this kid could be something amazing

So after 2 pages of hijacked thread, I guess the answer is “not much news” for now.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch fella. He said he's getting his degree before he leaves. Won't get it this year

Guice is gone even if he doesn't gain another yard all year long. NFL scouts know how good he is when healthy. He'll be a second rounder at the very worst barring a major injury.

This is true - his performance in the combine is far, far, far more important to his signing day paycheck than anything he does the rest of this year.

I expect that trend to continue with all elite college backs. You should treat them like reverse JUCOs - get them in, get them carries and expect them to take their own foot off the gas at the end. It is what it is.
