Anthony Russo said Cam Cameron had been holding out to see if Franks signed with LSU even though he was committed to UF. If not, he is the next qb they will offer.
I realize Franks already signed, but what I gathered was that Cam told Russo he is next man up.

Franks already signed with Florida. Russo is either misinformed or spinning something, because Cam is not waiting on Franks---maybe someone else though.

I'd rather have Haskins first. But Russo does seem like a good last-minute pickup.

The point from that whole story is that Cam TOLD RUSSO he would be the next man up if Franks signed. That came from Russo's mouth per the article and is very important considering LSU doesn't have another current option at quarterback. Don't be a pompous a-hole.

Kid looks like a very accurate passer, but his offense in HS was entirely from the spread in shotgun.
He would have to get his 3, 5 and 7 step drops down along with timing his passes from those drops to work in an LSU offense.

Russo would be a great pickup at this point. Haskins should have been the guy all along in my opinion. Pulling Haskins would be as big of a win as anyone in this class.

He takes some snaps from center. More than most QBs I see. More than Haskins that's for sure. He even does a rollout throw that we run with our offense.

People get so caught up in the number of stars by their ranking that they can't see talent. Plenty of GREAT quarterbacks were three stars.
