If there is one position we seem to be able to land 5* players from out of state it is DB.

I don't want to doubt Raymond here, but I have a hard time seeing this being anything other than a win for Ohio State. They're a recent national champ, they're killing everyone in recruiting except Texas, Urban Meyer is widely considered the 2nd best coach in the country at worst, they have a ton of NFL DB production (including 2 first rounders in the most recent draft), and Cook is very close friends with Jeffrey Okudah (who just signed with them last cycle).

LSU replaces NFL DBs every year sounds like that great product not so good coaching. Just playing in weak 2 team conference.

I agree, but Meyer didn't forget all those high school connections he made while coaching in Florida.

I think I would pick LSU just by the way those corner at Ohio State are playing geez. Idk if I would want their coaching style. Louisiana is also much closer to home for him, if that's a factor at all. From what I've just ready we have a really good shot. Our visit will likely be one of his last before he commits. A good season from the Tigers and watch out.

All of this and word is that Urban has united their alums and pitch the alumni network for jobs and future careers after football. Apparently he has really put work into this and it's paying off.
