Well yea I don't get it, I expect every high school offensive lineman to come to the sec and compete at a very high level in his freshman year

I am 62 and no child. Brad Smalling looked like a sta- puff marshmallow with his shirt off. He didn't look or move anything like this kid. The coaches don't just throw offers out there. They should have consulted you and others like you before offering a kid they see in action against similar talent in a camp setting. About half this class will turn out great, I hope this one makes haters look stupid in 4 years.

Haven't read a single post or comment that implied early playing time for Stewart, at least not from the true recruiting guys. Most feel he projects as a right tackle after a 2-3 years in the program, and with the current depth we have now on the o-line, that seems reasonable.

Well if it helps, it was being reported that he looked awesome at the camp and I'm pretty sure he wasn't going against scrubs FWIW.

Also, nobody's saying he's ready to play from day 1. That's just foolish

I think the services struggle to rank offensive linemen more than any other position. Hell NFL teams seem to struggle evaluating linemen after 4 years of college.
