With all this talk about Alabama OL going to the NFL, is there one from Bama that is remotely as successful as Big Whit? I don't understand why some of these kids are drinking the Koolade that Alabama is grooming top offensive linemen.
Some of these guys are simply elite athletes and would reach the NFL whether from Bama or Eastern Michigan.

Saban has created a mystique, but there are not a ton of his players operating at a high level in the league. Reminds me of the Cowboys

This board has gone full rant retard. I'm SOO glad I wasn't here for Landon Collins. One can only imagine how bad that was.

You should have been here for Joe McKnight. They were both really bad, but I think McKnight was the worst.

We have great o-linemen on the team. We are bringing in great o-linemen. We will continue to bring in great o-linemen. This is LSU not Tulane. We will replace a stud with a stud.

How many people would I piss off by bringing up the fact that he played for Saban for 3 years?

The DeAngelo Benton/Rueben Randle episode was truly epic.

Have you ever thought that it might just be the shine coming off those 3 crystal balls that could be luring kids to Bama?

This is an LSU message board, people should be able to say whatever the hell they want. If he has a point about Whitworth or missing out on CR who cares, let him have it.

It's not he took a dump on your couch. Just don't read it, scroll down, read another thread, whatever.

Resist the urge to be an a-hole for once in your life on this board. That's the real problem with TD.com. It's that you get overly crucified for saying things that might not appease the masses bec we're behind a key board.

If people are still mad about CR, so be it. This is in fact the right place to talk about it. If that's too much for you, go read another website for awhile.

Good grief.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't whitworth get recruited and play here under saban...? If so, your entire argument is invalid..

ETA: he was recruited by saban and played 3 years for him

What? That argument is invalid. Any coach that consistently fields a top 10 team and recruiting class, is going to have a lot of players drafted. He is a great recruiter and a great defensive coach, but he isn't great at developing players.
