Andre Anthony- what happened?

What ever happened to Andre Anthony? I know he never made it to campus, continued working on his own and planned to rejoin at a later time. Has anyone heard anything recently? I would expect a player with his size and skills to be a welcomed addition due to lb death.

He's currently enrolled at LSU and will be joining the team next year. He's on scholarship still

He didn't qualify so they gave him an academic redshirt, I believe is the new terminology. He had this semester to get his grades up and pass a few courses to qualify for next year. From everything I have heard he will qualify for next year.

Was he able to practice with the team? I can't remember if he could or just use this semester to get his grades in order.

I talked to him before the season started. He said that it was an incident at which his High School closed the school lost all of his academic records. So he had to take classes to become eligible. He will be able to play this spring.

He will be part of the team next semester. Currently enrolled and has done everything required of him.

Academic redshirts are able to practice similar to Travonte Valentine I believe. He is suppose to be fully eligible in Jan.

He has been enrolled since the fall and attending classes. He will be good to go in January.

Pretty sure he did not practice and was not part of the team. He attended LSU and worked out on his own. Will join the team this summer.

Hes enrolled, on the team, grades are great, and is ready for Spring. By all accounts the guy was a weight room warrior and looks like a freak most likely going to play rush end or outside linebacker.

I've seen him on campus, like others said, something happened that he couldn't control and the NCAA or SEC would rule him eligible

Just to clarify for those that don't know the story... It wasn't because his grades, it was because of the school after transfer.
