I really liked Mike Davis. Its hard to compare Davis and Ambles. Both have proven they are elite.
I like what I saw from Ambles as well. He was top WR at numerous camps and has since gotten better and proven that against top competition at the all star game. Easy take at this point.
I like Reed/Wright/Fobbs but Ambles IMO is the better WR. That being said we have a better shot at the first 3.

I dont know about that.
Tenn: It looks like Tenn. wont be the place. Too much change, no certainty about the future of the program and not much time left till signing day.
USC: I look at USC and see Robert Woods #1 WR, Kyle Prater #2 WR. Not sure Ambles would want to take a chance in that battle considering the talent already in place at USC. Then you add the NCAA investigation. Sounds risky. Then again the fact that kiffin told him not to disclose their conversation and he actually listened to them says to me maybe something is brewing.
Others: Florida was once on the top of his list. Alabama was also a strong player at one time. He visited the West Coast to see USC, Cal, and UCLA. He also listed Oklahoma early on in the process as a player.
LSU: You look at LSU's history with WRs. The NFL Wrs. B. Gonzales now at LSU (who recruited him at Florida) and his history with WRs. Then you add Frank Wilson who was at Tenn. and helping recruit Ambles. Then throw in the fact that we only signed 1 WR last year and currently have only 1 WR so far this year and I think LSU really stands a chance to secure this kid.
Yea it really should be a pretty easy sell IMO. Like some said, ya never know with kids these days if they're look at things logically but if he objectively compares the schools it should be LSU by a landslide.
O and to anyone asking "if we want him?", you're absolutely crazy if you think we don't. He's a top 4 WR.

May visit Auburn this week if the coaches allow him to.Also may visit Alabama next week.Supposedly will decide between those 2 on NSD.Source says it could change. If Ambles is serious about Auburn it could be good news for us and Reed.Supposedly Malzhan will interview with ECU and the Trooper to Tennessee rumors are still out there.I personally don't care a lot but some do so I'm putting the info out there. If this is posted on the SEC rant then sorry.I don't read it very often.
