To be technical it would be "grammar nazis" (if masculine) and "grammar nazies" (if feminine)...

All in good fun.....

Take JFF's 133 rushes (2247 yds) out... let's take 98 out and assume 3 plays a game were planned runs...

Also factor in he was probably sacked 3-4 times a game as well...

Correct. LSU has two really good receivers this year that were very productive.

And an offensive coordinator who knows how to coach offense. THAT is a huge draw to SN, imo....

I know I would be considering that for sure!

I am looking forward to "SWAMP KITTENS" taking on a whole new meaning. We are gonna start raising our team from the Louisiana high school football level. Kittens... If we can keep OUR SWAMP KITTENS... NOBODY COULD STOP US...

I would've guessed 3-4 a game too.

20 sacks (not counting game on right now!!) this year, for a loss of 152 yards (which is impressive in itself btw)

Look, if it was a defensive player we were talking about y'all would be saying "our defense sucks, so he has a chance to play immediately" and we would be using your offensive argument about being tops every year and having playmakers every year. If either of those arguments were definitive or valid LSU would have an offense comparable to Carencro and TAMU would have a defense comparable to Gilmer.

Exactly why Speedy likes that offense, it reflects Karrs offense. Literally a high school offense that resembles backyard football, should be a pretty easy transition for him.

Me personally, I don't believe that. I'd LIKE to believe that, don't get me wrong.

But just like AR fans who judge CLM by his press conferences and not his wins, I can't argue against Sumlin's track record (on the offensive side of the ball)

BINGO!! I think that's what 504Soulja has been alluding to all along.

That's why comparing offenses by LSU (fans especially, LOL) is moot. It's not about the productivity, it's about the style and Speedy's role. I think LSU should sell the role more (if they're not), Cam has a record there too.

But in the end, to overcome that LSU's shot is with him playing with his peers. I.e., LSU's recruits have to sell LSU to Speedy. That's one reason why I hate what ESPN has [probably] done here by pressuring many of our S La guys to wait until they can grab some ratings.

I know the threads of, "With A&M struggling, does this mean Speedy to LSU" and "With A&Ms defense struggling, can we flip anyone?" are coming, but damn...

Can we still try to get Myles Garrett?

I just can not imagine what a Nola kid could see in the Aggie offense over Cam Cameron's LSU offense.

Ok I haven't been following too closely buy I could see that I guess. Seems like a dumb reason to choose a school though, the NFL isn't gonna be running that shite.

I'm waiting for you to suggest Daylon Mack should come play at LSU. I mean, since you're so concerned about talent being wasted you couldn't possibly want him to come play in your shite show of a defense.

I shouldn't be so tough on them. If teams were only allowed 3 downs to get a first, Duke probably only would have scored 31 in the first half.
