I'm pretty sure he already played for Auburn in the 90s.

ETA: Nobody packs your lunch like Mamadou.

I think this is a different Mamadou. According to the original's Wiki, he's 7'0 ( LINK). This kid is 7'5.

Maybe it's Mamadou's son and he just forgot to put the Jr. at the end.

Either way I hope he does come here just so I can see the lunch packing line more often

Kid has had a few more years for his anterior pituitary to pump out some more growth hormone, so he could've grown a few inches

I once saw this sign when they were playing on the road (maybe even at LSU)...

"My mom plays better than your Mamadou".

I believe it was an LSU game where we had to beat Auburn to win the SEC regular season in Brady's Sweet Sixteen year. Watched the game in a Dallas sports bar with my dad. An Auburn fan held up the sign. I used to have a copy of it downloaded to an old laptop.

Edited to add.

It was the second to the last regular game of the 99-2000 regular season. That win clinched the regular season title for the Tigers. N'Diaye had a terrible game and fouled out. .

He was drafted 26th in the 2000 draft, 24 spots behind Sto.

"Mamadou Ndiaye" is like "John Smith" in Senegal. I can think of at least 5 Ndiaye's that have played college basketball or football, and a few other Mamadou's.
