Had an outstanding season, lost in the state championship game, led his team to a 12-1 season.
Completed 64% of his passes for 47TD's and 8 Ints. (3 picks came in one game) 64 Total Td's with just 8 interceptions.
Led his team in rushing with 1,201 Yards 7 YPC (They count sacks) 17 Rushing TD's
His brother is the number one JUCO QB.
He should or could be a late take.

Not rated, Prairie View only offer listed. Doubt LSU goes after him. Good luck in the future in the SWAC.

Trust me this kid is going to end up being Seth Russell, Boykin, Manziel, RG3. Those Texas QB's no one recruited that destroyed in college.

I honestly don't give a shite anymore I'm just amazed that our coaches aren't adding bodies in the mix at the position when we've had shite play for 6 years.

Gee, maybe it's because "adding bodies" who CAN'T PLAY wastes scholarships that could go to players who might actually help!

Would you be happier if they signed 6-7 quarterbacks a year just because some jacklegs say that friends of the brothers of their third cousins think they're the next coming of Tom Brady?

I don't know man. I'd have to see how well he executes the toss dive to know if he would fit our sophisticated offensive playbook.

We don't need to sign 6 qbs a year but when you have 3 scholarship qbs there is no fricking excuse for not recruiting and signing 2 capable qbs.

Need to sign as many as possible with our coaching, and hope one or two are self learners.

Every single snap out of the shotgun? I'm sure that we could find one QB in Texas that took snaps under center.

Well maybe 3-4, yes. It's constantly a position of need and we are so far behind depth wise that we need to overload. Once the position becomes established, 1-2 a year is adequate.

Just what we need. Another spread dual threat qb under center.

Manziel was recruited by Oregon (I think even committed there)?

What we need is any qb with talent. Beggars can't be choosy at this point. Would be nice to sign 3 4* pro style guys, but that's not happening. Give the kid a chance. Worst case scenario, we lost a scholly. Not even that if he will do ee.

Seen him play in person a few times. He is a DI WR for sure, no where close to being a DI QB IMO.

ray chill man, we're only allowed to be super positive here.

We're fine at QB. All is well, no problems. We're going to find a super talented QB to get in this class!
