TJ is a great player and a huge want for us. I get the feeling the qb situation at LSU is really hurting us right now with him and I get it. I only wish he would consider from the point of view of what our offense will look like in 3 years when he's at his prime. He wants to play right away and I'm not sure he'd get that here. Although I do feel he'll get snaps with us and punt returns right away.

I hate that but it is true. He could have really helped us this year and would have played a ton. Would have been nice for him to return kicks. I don't really like LF doing that.

Apparently Auburn is his leader and he just set up an OV. We haven't really heard anything about him until now. What's the story with this kid? Don't know how y'all feel about other posters coming on this board but I just came to ask an honest question.

Kids the real deal. Best prospect in the state and arguably the top receiver in the nation (at least top 3). Only thing is one week Texas Tech is favorite, next it's another, week after it's another team, now it's Auburn. Most if these schools I don't believe he's visited though.

You now join the ranks of Clemson and Texas Tech. Congrats. This guy seems to be all over the place with his recruitment and he either trolls, or just talks way too much.

LOL. That kid doesn't care about that. He'll still be friends with those guys regardless of where e goes to college. What he cares about is going to a school where he can display his talent for NFL scouts, and in addition win some games. Although I believe Harris will be a great QB over the next few years, Johnson may not take that risk. Can't say id blame him for going off what he sees on the field and not on what's promised by coaches.

Sounds like LSU, a perennial top 15 team who just produced two rookie starters at WR in the NFL.

if not this is the 3rd team hes named his leader before visiting and would be the second(clemson) hes named his leader right after a visit to LSU.

You think Harris will be great.

What school has an established QB for the next three year?

And for the record, Harris has more attempts and passing yards than Johnson.

Just quoting Jimmie Smith from NOLA.com... That was his assessment/report after the Ole Miss game.

Reading a Recruiting scout report,Word was T Johnson was excited about Harris and the potential and that he was LSU. LSU has fallen behind in his recruitment cause the word is he doesn't see much of a future with A Jennings and he doesn't think anything will change.(Short Version))

Ah, I see now why all the top rated WR's are lining up at LSU doorsteps now...makes sense

Well, LSU has the history to back this up. Not to mention, he'll be playing for a NC during his time here.

Otherwise, go be TigerBait

Jefferson 2009

Sr LaFell 57 rec 792 yards 11 TDs
Jr Toliver 53 rec 735 yards 3 TDs
Fr Randle 11 rec 173 yards 2 TDs

I'm pretty sure Harris can manage that with the WRs we have.

Bowe, LaFell, Landry, Beckham

Name me 3 schools that can claim to have that many starters in the NFL right now at WR?

That's my point

All this elite talent at the WR (and DT) position from LA that's been drafted and this coaching staff can't seem to bring in those top prospects OOS when the talent in LA is not there.
