Well it can't hurt, he's our guy at the moment. With all these GA commits maybe it will turn his head in our direction. Lots of time left to get this class top notch. There's a lot riding on what we look like this season. GT

Yeah this is nothing but good news. I hope Canada gets after him, but I definitely won't get my hopes up

That's about to change. I think this staff is going to hit the offensive recruits hard during the season. They will be most effective at that time so build relationships now then hit it hard during the season.

Crystal balls have him as a Florida lean? Why any 5-star QB would want to struggle under the guidance of the old beaver teeth shark molester is beyond my comprehension. If he's really considering going there, then I have to think we have a realistic chance.
Hopefully Etling puts up some above average numbers this coming season. That'll go a long way in transforming our identity into a top destination for elite quarterbacks.

That kid's twitter post was refreshing. It didnt feel rehearsed or overly PC. It came off as genuine, honest and personal. I really hope we have a legit shot with this kid.
As much as I absolutely love Canada as an OC, so far he has struck out with this years QB's that he has courted. Granted, that could be because we took 2 elite QB's last cycle, or it is more difficult to sell an offense that has yet to be witnessed in an actual game. Crossed fingers for sure.

Obviously I hope we get him to BR, but I think it will be a tough sell with Brennan and Narcisse gained this past cycle. Competition will be showing the LSU depth chart to sway him.
With that said, a high-octane 2017 OFF showing is just what the doctor ordered for our Tigers and will no doubt help recruiting at the skilled positions.

Better than some schools that will have a returning starter at QB. You can sell him on an open competition next year for the starting job.
