What happened to all the 5 stars that Vol told us were lighting up the coaches phone? Supposedly they were jumping at the chance to take any other recruits spot who changed their mind. The circle jerks will pipe in how "kids lie" instead of just admitting their hero played everyone.

Y'all act like we have regressed if we get one more 3 star in this class when we already have a top 5 class with 21 recruits lol

Trust the coaches. They are how we got here in the first place

They are star gazing. More worried about banging their chest about a #1 class rather than trusting the staff to identify talent.

I was impressed with Jefferson. You could tell in his tape that he was going to be good, maybe not as good as he's been, but I definitely thought he'd be a starter at some point. I liked him a lot better than Chark, and that turned out nice for us as well.

If they can’t qualify academically, then they can’t play. 5 star signee who can’t play just helps win the recruiting title, not the real game on the field.

Then why give them a star rating at all? At the very least, they should be bumped up once they qualify.

It is honestly a similar situation. I think if everyone knew for sure he would qualify he would be ranked higher.

You guys who keep saying this are not considering that this staff has done a phenomenal job of talent evaluations since being hired here. We’ve benefited more from so called depth players then not. We aren’t just filling numbers, they’re still looking at talent and who can contribute.

Just because these players aren’t ranked highly doesn’t mean that they haven’t been looked at closely by our staff who do a great job of recruiting talent that will develop into great players at LSU. It’s a little short sited when people come on here and say “I’m not impressed” and don’t know the first thing about them nor have they seen them in person to make any sort of legitimate assessment.

The staff has more than likely met them, seen them up close, talked to them, talked to other coaches (including opposing coaches), met the family and see something that will translate to the college level. Our coaches have been doing this for decades and have proven that they know what talent is and how it will translate. It’s time that we give them the benefit of the doubt. Stop looking at stars and start looking deeper.

WE ARE EXTREMELY DEEP AT WR!!!!

There have been lots of reports that Lee would be switched over to defense. If so, maybe they are looking for extra depth since we will likely lose three WRs after next season.

Some need to understand low star ratings are not necessarily because of field production. The low rating can be because of grades.

no kidding.

Give me some instinctive "attack the ball" and good, not decent- good, hands and this kid is good to go.

I think he has some versatility, a little bit of swiss army knife for Pike... if that's true I'm all in.

Be glad to have him.
