Wut. Not impressed with how we are finishing this class, especially being in the national title

Can he play safety as well?

J/k, I trust the staff. Seems like we have good depth this year and several in-state studs next year, but if they need another WR, get him.

As you watch two-star Justin Jefferson light people up

Give these kids a chance... if they're in, they're ours!

I think it’s important to remember that our RB and WR we are adding is for the sake of depth. In case injuries happen or transfers.

Hard to find elite players who want to sit behind other elite players at skill positions.

And that’s okay. Maybe they’ll contribute their 4th year!

Did you watch his film? Or are you just star-gazing?

Then maybe stop following recruiting, because this is the deal. This is how it goes.

As for being in the Championship game, that has little bearing on this class. It may help get a commit or two, but it’s the next year when it really pays dividends.

For those wondering, kid is a very good player, but has grade concerns, put him in the same camp as Ty'kieast Crawford.

You can come down off the high horse. It shows that you need to be open to developmental players who can fill out a class and a roster. Many of them won’t pan out, but it’s worth it for the Jeffersons and Hesters that you do hit on who become big contributors. You also need a few guys who are willing to stay 3-4 years to provide depth and play special teams.

If you believe that the staff can evaluate guys who have a shot to become contributors, then trust them to do it.

Every 2 star isn’t the next Justin Jefferson just like every 5’8” DB from Louisiana isn’t the next Honey Badger.

I think it’s dumb to drop a player’s rating based on grade issues. If he has 4/5 star ability, then he should be a 4/5 star.

This could also help us create more traction in Mississippi long-term.

Looks good. Nice TD to catch ratio and yds per catch. Seems like he might be a playmaker.

Kid has elite speed and can flat out play. If his grades weren’t so bad last year and he was given more attention you wouldn’t be saying you were disappointed.
