The 6-4, 315-pound prospect named the Tigers his leader in June, with Texas, USC, Texas A&M and Baylor also mentioned as schools of high interest. Wilson has a lot of family in Louisiana, and that has helped the Tigers cause quite a bit.
LSU defensive line coach Ed Orgeron and linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto are responsible for recruiting one of the nation's top prospects, and a source close to Wilson tells me that LSU is the "team to beat."

LSU's defensive talent from the 2014 class to the 2017 class is going to be absurd. They're gonna put Da U type numbers of guys in the league in the next 5 years

How about if we get both Shelvin and Wilson, but they are in a rotation with Ed Alexander, Rashan Gary, Glen Logan, and Rashard Lawrence. I'm dreaming here, but talk about loaded.

It starts with Godchaux, Adams, Paris in 2014. Then you add in Key, Toliver, Jackson, Washington in 2015. Throw in Alexander, Smith, Fulton, Divinity, Fowler, and the other DL possibilities in 2016. And top it off with Moses, Shelvin, and maybe Wilson in 2017... That's a lot of guys with first round ability. And I left a lot of big time ball players off that list
