Just got home and let my dog out to use the bathroom and noticed that my neighbors have left their 6 month old lab in their backyard. I work offshore and am in and out constantly, almost never spending anytime at home, so I have yet to met these people who moved in right before they got the dog. It looks like if there is anyone there, they are asleep. I don't want the dog to be hurt or tramatized by the storm in the morning. Should I Bring it to my house now or wait to see if it's still back there in the morning? I think I should get it now and explain it later. What would you do?

You should DEFINITELY bring the dog in. It's not like they'd get mad at you.

Simple cost benefit analysis.

Worst case sceraio of bringing the dog in: a minor inconvenience maybe a poop on your carpet

Worst case scenario of leaving dog out: dog killed by debris or something. You regret it for months.

That's Deuce's girlfriend so I'm sure he won't mind. I think I'm going to go get it.

Be the good neighbor and knock on the door and explain your reason for knocking ... than get the dog if no one answers.

My cat got out, when I went outside to turn the breaker off and start the generator. I was surprised he ran out in the rain. I can't find him now, it sucks for a pet to get out in this.
