I know a couple with 3 dogs and 2 cats having to stay in the flooded house tonight as the shelters were full. This storm can't move fast enough, and morning can't come soon enough.

I just got done pulling people out of houses near riverlands golf course and behind ascension. Ankle to shin deep in those houses. Thigh to waist in the middle of the Fairway right there. Boats skid the ground madewood/fairway.

man this is crazy to hear.

i did a high water marks study in 2008 and was amazed at all the water Laplace got from either Ike/Gustav. Whats the word on Manchac, when we did the study Middendorfs got a huge surge of water

No I didn't get as far as bienville. Hit the dead end side of lafitte, fairway, ellersie, and madewood. Brought people to a bus at the movie theater and sonic.

When I passed by Middendorf's on Monday, they were in the process of sandbagging around it. I don't know if it helped though.

Got to dangerous so we stopped. Got dark and people would try to jump in a boat full of people causing it to almost tip.

Cambridge was flooded and they started flocking through riverlands area to get help. I was told busses were going to new wine across Winn Dixie and then to Alexandria. Airline does not have any water as far as home depot from what I know.
