I live in lake towers apt off spanishtown and 9th street, though I stayed somewhere else for the storm. The apt complex isn't answering the phone, I'm trying to figure out if that area has power.

I live in Lake Towers too. We have power, never lost it actually. A couple small trees down in the parking lot but nothing serious at all.

Thanks, I appreciate it. If you are bored and want to help me grade papers all day let me know, it'll be a whole bunch of fun.

Haha I'm a teacher too. This year I'm in kindergarten so I don't have papers to grade. I don't miss grading in the least!

Spanishtown road is blocked with a big tree, and parts of the hood are without power. but it sounds like you will be good.

We don't actually have to go down Spanish town to get in/out. I just went out a little bit ago to go to the store and had no problems getting around. Just be careful when you come by the call box, the tree right there is leaning pretty bad and you have to make a wide turn to get around it.
