Ortho Home Defense Max. It’s completely odorless. I’ve had great results inside and out. Don’t forget to spray inside the brick weep slots. When you run low, buy a gallon of refill and change the AA batteries in the original spray wand.

How do you apply? In just the corners only, around all baseboards, etc.?

Does it dry clear?

I'm not saying Ortho or any of the other products they sell at somewhere like Lowes don't work. But you can get "commercial grade" in bulk that mix in a sprayer for around $1/ gallon. Here's 16oz of talstar for $40 plus shipping I know its more than $2/ gallon but you can buy a bulk 96oz for $60.

Domyownpestcontrol

Talstar
Suspend
Demon
Cy-Kick
Bifen xts

some others, all work well inside and out you spray your inside every 60-90 days and outside about every 30.

ETA: Inside of the house takes less than 1/2 gallon. I use about 2 for 1/2 acre yard that's probably 12,000 sq ft of grass and what not that I spray

Yes, it dries clear. Just walk through your house and spray the baseboards. Suspend is also very good, and I guess it’s cheaper to buy the concentrate and mix batches in a pump sprayer. However, in my opinion the convenience of the OHD Max is worth the extra money. No measuring, no mixing, no cleaning the pump sprayer, etc. Just grab OHD, shake it for 15 seconds, spray, and put it away. You can do your whole house, inside and out in 20 minutes.

Ortho has started to get away from battery powered wands and now some use a non powered windex trigger sprayer. I thought I would hate it, but love not worrying about batteries.

Ortho dries clear. (Low bifenthrin)
Talstar and other (high) bifenthrin products do not dry clear, they will leave water marks, especially on windows.

H&G SUPER TIP: Tractor Supply carries Wisom TC Flowable which is generic Talstar (Bifenthrin 7.9%). $40 for 32oz local pickup. This is what I use now instead of ordering online and waiting.

Fair warning: I have no idea what I am doing here at ALL.

I have an empty home up for sale in BR that is just sitting there. I was up there last week and saw evidence of roaches.

Can I just buy some concentrate, mix it up in a handheld garden sprayer and spray around the baseboards, under the appliances and around the perimeter of the home? Is that all there is to it?

I am near the Tractor Supply in Covington and they seem to have the concentrate and hand sprayers.

Yes. Go to tractor supply. Get a hand sprayer and some bifenthrin. They sell generic 7.9% for around $20 for a 16 oz bottle last time I checked.

Mix it 1 ounce to 1 gallon of water in the sprayer and spray around your baseboards behind fridge/stove, under sinks etc.
