I mowed yesterday afternoon so should I just spot spray while also coat the surrounding areas of the weeds with Clegg's Cocktail? I can probably hit in tomorrow AM since I'll be up mega early doing stuff before I have to head to the office.

I think you are dealing with ground ivy as it is traveling along the ground and not growing vertical. Unless it is growing vertical and I can't tell from the angle.

It's definitely growing along the ground. Google images show ground ivy looks closer to my image than what the previous reply said.

It was also producing some purple flowers which I've seen a lot of these in our neighborhood.

I should point out. In previous posts I did mention doing my fertilizer applications. Put down some lime around a month ago. Phosphorous about 3 weeks ago and nitrogen over 2 weeks ago. The yard has greened up significantly and looks a bit fuller, but there are a plethora of weeds (primarily what appears to be the ground ivy).

I do have the ingredients for Clegg's Cocktail and am looking up that the Weed Free Zone should knock out ground ivy as well. So should I just be able to knock both dichondra AND ground ivy with the Clegg's? Last application was sometime in early February I want to say.

The top picture is some sort of violet. Like others said, the bottom one is ground ivy.

Take a picture of that top weed like you were looking at it from above.
