I went through the numerous threads and below is what I pieced together. MSM Application

You can use 1/8 of a level teaspoon per 1 or 2 gallon of water + surfactant (Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker) sprayed over 1000 sq ft which will equate to 0.6 oz per acre (0.4 grams per 1000 sq ft) which is safe for St Aug, Bermudagrass and Zoysia (according to the label). For centipede that’s a tad high so a bit less than 1/8 teaspoon so as not to exceed 0.5 oz max application per acre for centipede. Of course follow the label directions for safe application rates for the weeds you need to control.

For better precision,
0.33 oz per acre equals 0.21 grams per 1000 sq ft
0.50 oz per acre equals 0.33 grams per 1000 sq ft
0.75 oz per acre equals 0.50 grams per 1000 sq ft

You can order the 1/8 teaspoon measuring spoons for cheap on Amazon, order a few if you have a tendency to misplace things like me.

Nice work. I think that is a good guideline for the DIY.

would this work for centipede also?

It would be close. Centipede requires less nitrogen than St Aug. I would use 16-0-8 on centipede. Remember that just because N% might be low you can still over apply by having the spreader set improperly. 16% N does give you a little more forgiveness.

What is good for centipede (and for healthy St Aug's) is to fert it one good time to start the year and then switch to houactinite or milorganite.

Ronk,

Should I fertilize newly laid St. Aug (laid middle of July) and existing St. Aug now or not?

Don’t apply pre-emergent to newly laid St. Aug, correct?

A little organic Milorganite wouldn’t hurt. I wouldn’t do a pre em

Good list.

Any recommendations on pre emg for better spurge and doveweed control as well as timing?

I have had a hell of a time this year with spurge and it hasn’t been touched by Celsius or msm, but the st aug is definitely discoloring.

Also does fall application of atrazine help suppress Bermuda in st aug?

I meant more as an effect from the herbicide application, as in the spurge etc. didn’t seem phased, but the grass did.

I put out a final fert application 2 weeks ago, and yard is watered appropriately

Been following this schedule for about 3-4 months now and seems to be going great, but want to confirm one thing. MSM Turf doesn’t indicate lawn burweed on its label. Can anyone confirm it is useful for this? Internet search seems to say it is, but want to hear from the trusty HG board.

Don't know about where y'all are, but come May in Florida, you better start putting down a pesticide or the chinch bugs/sod web worms will crush your yard come July.
