Good morning. I am considering mounting a tv in the backyard of my house. However, the space where it would go is not covered, and I am worried about the tv being exposed directly to the sun, weather etc. Anyone know if this is doable, or if I should just throw in the towel? Has anyone else pulled this off? Thanks in advance

Look up TV Storm Shell. That would probably be your best bet for this scenario.

If the area isn't covered at all, obviously the weather will be an issue, but also consider the glare and amount of ambient light, assuming you would want to watch it in the daylight occasionally.

Honestly if you are trying to put it where it is completely uncovered, I would just get an RV style tv mount and remove it when it is not in use. Typically RV mounts make them extremely simple to take on and off.

Buy a cheap tv and throw it away in 5-7 years if you have a problem with the weather
