Went to a youth camp at Lookout Mountain and part of the mission work was potting this stuff to sell at a local nursery. Said it’s great ground cover. They gave teach student one for their help that day
Do some areas actually use this… on purpose?
ETA they called it pennywort.

Penoxsulam herbicide. A Ferti-lome granular product called “Dollarweed killer” at local nurseries.
It’s also in Bio-Advanced weed and feed granules at Lowe’s. If you want to fertilize your grass at the same time.
All okay with St. Augustine grass.

24d will take care of it pretty easily.
I have two huge spots of it in my back yard. How those delicate little root tubers travel through hard clay is beyond me
I have to admit though. Pulling those things out of my garden beds is stress relief, especially when you get a really long one.
