Wife wants to buy new patio furniture. Everything looks the same to me. Anyone have any brands they would recommend for comfortable furniture. Crap I can drink a few brews in and fall asleep?

Having gone through enough to fill a junkyard, get aluminum framed furniture. The plastic wicker fades and cracks, wood turns gray and cracks, steel rusts and makes a mess.
The stuff we have now is a grayish aluminum frame with aluminum straps for the seats and backs. Put some thick cushions and get to napping.

Make sure you get the 5" cushions. Splash in BR has good stuff. The good stuff won't be cheap

If you want something different, you're gonna have to go to restoration hardware, pottery barn or Frontgate. this is not cheap

Our designer got our set from Southern Home out of Mobile. They make a lot of it there. We wanted something more contemporary so we got a sofa and club chairs from the South Beach collection. Again not cheap but we expect it to last.

Second southern home stuff, it’s been fantastic and it’s expensive, but I’ve also only bought 1 set of furniture.

Buy covers for the stuff as well.

Most comfortable I’ve ever sat on were some composite material ones. They’re expensive af. But somehow really comfortable. I’ll see if I can find a link. They were at a beach rental so you know they’re durable.

We have Summer Classics and it was outrageous but it lasts like a motherfricker.

Summer classics has been pretty for us at the beach. Lots of options, comfortable and holds up well. Good fabric is important. Cleaning and care/ maintenance are important for longevity

Bought some plastic, wicker-like stuff with Sunbrella cushions 5 years ago from Shoppers Choice on Coursey. It was a discontinued brand. $1,100 for four chairs with ottomans each with cushions along with a low table with a glass top.

Excellent stuff.

Ex wants me to pay full price to have it back in the house I kept. While she’s paying to store and not use it.

I’ll probably do it.
