What was your experience like? Considering them for a wood structure/metal roof patio cover tied into the house. Hearing mixed things… anyone have first hand input on quality and overall experience?

I see one person vouching for them and another saying the final product was good but a hassle. You said stay away… can you explain why? Thanks!

I found the owner to be shady/sleazy in my dealings with him. Would tell me things that were lies in regards to timelines, payment disbursements etc. tried to pass some of his subs work as quality when it was crap. Had to stay on him to get bad work corrected many times. Wouldn’t answer his phone or call unless he was looking for an early payment then he would hassle the shite out of me for early payments when work hadn’t been done up to the next payment point.

If I knew then what I know now I would have went with another company.

What kind of work did they do for you? Patio cover, kitchen, and pavers?

they did pavers (that was a big old hassle) , patio cover and outdoor kitchen

paver work was bad , first time the lines were all squiggly and they had to pull it all up and start over. After Frank tried telling me the uneven / squiggly lines between the pavers was normal.

Thanks Buck! Appreciate you.
It’s so hard even to find someone to quote these projects lately.

If I can’t find or afford anyone else, do you think id be good just having them do the cover?

There is probably a reason that they may be the only one you can find and are the lowest.

If you know going into it you have to make sure you know what you want them to do exactly, stay on them and try to get clear time lines / payment schedules I’d guess just a cover would be fine.

He did a patio cover for me, tied one side into the roof, the other side just let hang over the roof (patio higher than that part of down slip of the roof) and put up a gutter and it still pisses me off to this day. That should have been tied into the roof as well. Now when it rains from a. Certain direction it sends mist into that patio area.

I’m trying to get quotes as well and custom outdoor concepts was on my list. Looking for any feedback as well.

I see Chad504boy said stay away with no context in this thread or the other one. Can you provide more details on the project you hired them for or why you are so strongly against them?

I can’t but people said very specific things about him and his style and I would say were on precise point. Read between the lines and of what exactly they are saying and fill in some logical gaps.

Oh ok so you were just making shite up, cool. Buck was the only one who provided actual insight and his experience with the company. Glad I could call you out on it.

Stay away. The solution is in the link below. Did mine and did an awesome job.

My dad and brother used custom outdoor concepts and were not happy.

you were given your answers. you can choose to do whatever the hell you want with very precise information.

Call me out to be proven correct. I immediately laughed and simply put "stay away" when a poster recommended him and everyone else since then has backed up my response. But dog on me cause i'm being super careful of what i choose to put out into the internet land of what information i know and how i know and where it all originates from. I don't owe you anything, listen to me, don't listen to me, i don't care.

That probably sounded better in your head, good attempt though. I think you should also look up what precise means before trying to use it in a sentence, you clearly don’t know what it means or how to use it.

You immediately said stay away, right after someone else recommended them with no context to support your statement. Your post history is laughable, and you’re the furthest thing from being careful about what you put out in “internet land”. So no, you don’t owe me anything but next time stay out of the conversation when the adults are talking.

All this defensiveness from someone who created an account yesterday. Pretty ironic, don't you think. A little bit too ironic....

nobody recommended them after me.

In the middle of a 24k backyard project, I knew ahead of time they would be pains in the arse with things but their final work I have seen always impresses.
