Considering soccer is a worldly sport and has been around longer than the merge of the AFL and the NFL. You might have been dropped as a child, or you are just plain retarded. And the first rule for boards is: "you never go full retard".

So why don't we compromise and just make another board. I'm cool with keeping the soccer board, but it doesn't make sense to had this board and no NFL board and honestly, the man police will have to look into this and demand man cards from everyone... Just sayin'

the soccer board and the sec rant exist to keep that shite out of the MSB and keep the MSB good. NFL topics are something most sports fans are interested in, therefore they're good to have on the MSB.
Gump retardation subtracts from the MSB's appeal, therefore those threads get sequestered to the SEC rant.
Soccer threads were constantly flamed on the MSB by soccer haters who didn't know that they had the ability to overlook a thread that they weren't interested in, therefore they got their own board too.
American football is the most popular sport in the US... take away the NFL from the MSB and there's barely a point to having the MSB.. it basically becomes the Baseball/Ohio State board.
