Going to make it easier to upload pictures to their site. You gotta go to another host site upload your image their then generate a code and copy and paste it here. Come on TD. It's 2011 for Pete's Sake update your site.

I agree, I never bother with pictures because of the extra steps required as compared to most other sites

if you think this site is "out-dated" you need to go check out the boards of some other SEC schools. there is a reason we have a very successful SEC Rant, its because this site is the most user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing there is

Find the picture you want to use. Rick click and choose 'view image' and copy the image url address. It takes maybe....MAYBE 20 seconds

The whole process of uploading, storing, and serving images would be a huge burden on the site. This is a message board, and it is tuned for performance as such. Image hosting sites serve images, and they are tuned as such.
