What was inappropriate about my avatar?

I received a private message informing me of the inappropriateness of my avatar image. What was inappropriate about it?
I'm unsure how a drawn, Marvel Comics character is inappropriate. Not to mention it's the same avatar image I've used for going on 9 years. Suddenly it is deemed inappropriate for this site?
It is not the fault of myself, nor the heroic Sasquatch, if his image caused the person that RAed the avatar any unwanted feelings or stirrings that made them uncomfortable. I should not need to change said image nor apologize for their personal issues.

It wasn't suddenly deemed inappropriate, you were just finally caught. The rules weren't changed just to mess with you, it's that you have been flying under the radar of years, and you're not that important.

So, wait...it's not about me, the "you" named so many times in your post?
Again, it's not the picture's fault if you're seeing dicks wherever you look. Perhaps you should seek professional help if that's a bothersome part of your everyday life, and to answer any questions you may have. But I guess I'll have to change my picture to appease the poor, unfortunate folks that see male genitalia wherever they happen to look.
