We just don't understand her wisdom and logic because we're all young and she's old.

First off I can’t believe this thread is still going on. That in itself is pretty pathetic. I am going to state this once and once only. I am not going to bicker back and forth with a bunch of people that are just waiting to jump me as soon as I respond. This was the deal:

It seemed that after the last large reinstatement of some banned posters the haters of said posters started making more and more threads calling out certain people. We just had that large discussion about people sticking to the rules, eliminating IM’ing, hardlegging etc. and that the OT was going to crack down on those not following the rules and start banning folks. Ok that is all well and good but it seems that there are a few posters that get away with more and more crap while the few “not so liked” posters get reprimanded for the slightest of infractions. Over the years people have been told there is to be no threads calling out posters, and especially when they used the posters name in the subject line. It seems that a selected few are allowed to get away with this while others have to walk on egg shells because they are not as well liked.

People get bashed in threads all the time. That has been going on for years. Heck you could use this thread for example if you are looking for one. When you purposely single out a poster and use their name as the subject of the thread and than the first post is something like “they are a piece of crap” that is just outright blatant disregard of chickens rules and it is thumbing your nose up at him and his site by saying I can do anything I want and no one will do anything about it. I have seen more and more of these types of threads over the past few weeks and when I came on line and that was the first thread I saw I decided to point it out to the admins.

I don’t even know this chick really. All I know is she is suppose to have many alters which is nothing new for the OT as several of you guys have more than one user name yourselves. My post had nothing to do with this chick personally as I don’t care who the thread was about as it was the attack I didn’t agree with. The outright “calling out of a poster” type thread that has been showing up more and more on the OT lately is the point I was making. I didn’t even single out Rag as I didn’t name him by name since I was making a point this has been going on previously and I was getting tired of it. I posted the thread and I posted the rules pertaining to that thread. The thread was deleted and the issue was taken care of. That should have been the end of it.

As for back channeling about the only person I talk to is Rocks and we discuss sports most of the time. I haven’t spoken to hardly anyone in the last two months as I have been working on my car so don’t even begin to start making those accusations as that is complete BS.

The comments about me complaining about a thread about a chick having a lot of alters and then posting later “I don’t like when people do that”; my response is I don’t care what the thread was about. The thread called out a poster by name and the point was to bash this poster by calling attention to her so others could do the same. That is why I went to the help board. Personally I don’t like alters because when people keep changing their names I lose track of who everyone is. Sometimes I disappear for several days and when I come back I don’t know who half the posters are anymore. I don’t care how many names you have it is just confusing to me who I am talking too. It is the name changing I really disagree with. If you want 20 alters I don’t care, just let people know who the heck you are. If you had a problem with her alters than you should have addressed it on the help board or emailed chicken but posting a thread to deliberately bash her on the OT was not the way to do it in my opinion.

I am sure some of you will feel the need to bash what I said and if that makes your day then go for it. As far as I see it you had your say and I had mine. The issue was taken care of and both sides spoke their piece so lets move on shall we? Again thanks admins for doing your job and I appreciate the fact you work as hard as you do to try and keep the site decent.
