It has to be hosted on an approved imaging site, i.e., imgur, photobucket, etc. That site will give you different links for this image. Copy & paste the direct link, exactly into the signature picture space provided in your user profile. Make sure everything is deleted from that space before pasting the image link. Click the submit button.
Actually, I've already hosted the pic. If you want, you can just copy & paste the direct link for this image into the sig pic box in your user profile. Just be sure that box is empty before pasting the link in it.

On your user profile page, there is a space, a rectangular box, provided for you to paste or type in a quote. It's located toward the bottom of the page along with the spaces for avatars and sig pics. Be sure to follow the guidelines for the number of characters allowed in the quote. You can copy the text from your source and paste it in the box or type in the text. Click the submit button. Make sure the box is empty before typing or pasting the quote.

On the sig pic, to make it large enough, I had to add a background. That's the only way I could do it so as not to distort the image since it's almost perfectly square.
Let me know if you had something else in mind.
