The parentheses encapsulating the "Posted on" text were also removed. Overall, the changes give the site a cleaner, more modern look.
Next step - remove the thread titles in every single reply within a thread. It's redundant and unnecessary. It was helpful when the forum employed a threaded view, which allowed a user to create a sub-thread within an actual thread, but it's nothing more than clutter at this point.

Can anyone tell me if Cs has commented, and if so, has he mentioned the new look being cleaner? Also, did he use the phrase "design motif"?

Meh, I think it is a cleaner look.
It will take some getting used to, but I can dig it. Just wish we would have been properly notified of the pending changes. Thought I was losing my mind for a second.

It's too big. I'm not 80, I don't need this giant font to be able to read.
