The weekly thread was a good compromise, but I have to agree that the retarded shite posted in it made it worthless. I stopped looking at that thread for months because it was just a circle jerk. If I remember correctly, the admins suspended it before, then posters begged and pleaded and said they would stop posting stupid shite, and then it happened all over again.
Truthfully, there were only a few posters that were the worst offenders, but it really made that thread repulsive.
Also, I don't think a golf board is viable as the amount of golf threads/subjects has too many peaks and valleys. However, I 100% agree that the structuring of the boards needs to be completely revamped, and it is ridiculous that there is not a board where all discussion regarding a sport, including following the pros and discussing playing the sport, is allowed.
