Treadmill intervals

I have been doing running intervals on the treadmill because I hate continuous running and the elliptical is boring to me. I set the treadmill at 8.3 MPH, sprint 30 seconds/rest 30 seconds. I do 5 of those then I run 2 intervals at 1 minute with a 30 second break in between the two intervals. Then I repeat that four more times. So my cardio workout looks like this:
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second rest
2 intervals of 1 minute run/ 30 second rest
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second test
2 intervals of 1 minute run/30 second rest
5 intervals of 30 second run/ 30 second rest
2 intervals of 1 minute run/ 30 second test
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second rest
What do y'all think?
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second rest
2 intervals of 1 minute run/ 30 second rest
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second test
2 intervals of 1 minute run/30 second rest
5 intervals of 30 second run/ 30 second rest
2 intervals of 1 minute run/ 30 second test
5 intervals of 30 second run/30 second rest
What do y'all think?

Sounds more like you're bragging to me

An Instagram fitnesss model told me to do 30 second sprint/walk intervals for 15 mintues so that's the best thing to do I believe.

I've been doing 20 second / 30 second intervals on the bike (it's easier to adjust the resistance almost instantly vs waiting on the treadmill to speed up/slow down) I do 8 rounds (in addition to a 2 min warmup cooldown) of that with the 20 second sprint basically being all I can give. By the time my 8 rounds are over I'm dead. It's a hell of a way to end a workout.

I don't slow the treadmill down. I simply just straddle the treadmill after my interval is over.

You should prob crank that speed up. Instead of resting you could go do sets of leg extensions or curls.

Here are Two treadmill workouts that can be pretty brutal
1. "Tabata treadmill"
-Set to 12% grade incline
-set speed to 0-30 seconds slower than best 5k mile average pace
-8 total rounds of 20 seconds run, 10 seconds rest for 4 minutes total of work
2. "Treadmill of death"
-set to 10% grade incline
-set speed to 10 mph
-shoot for 10 total intervals of 20 second run, 40 second rest

I did an athlean-x workout for a while. One of his cardio workouts was 10 minutes + whatever you needed for warmup and cooldown. It was to sprint for 20 seconds and jog 40 seconds.

Why not do quarter mile repeats? 10-20 x 400m is a pretty standard workout. Modify it for your fitness level.
