Keto diet (no carb) - typically pushed by those who were also scammed into CrossFit memberships

protein intake - pushed my supplement companies on others to think they need double the amount of protein that they actually do. i dont even keep track of protein anymore

I don't really disagree with you here. However, I've yet to see a study that gives an amount for too much protein.

The only real drawback with eating high protein from meat is that it can get expensive.

I don't know about scam because it works, the question is how long can someone keep it up.

I've never seen or heard of anyone going strict keto for over one year.

I wouldn't say crossfit is a scam, but the box memberships are extremely expensive for limited use.

As in zero cheat meals or as in without giving up entirely? With the new foods you can eat, Joseph's Pitas/Lavish Bread to make sandwiches/pizzas, and Halo Top ice cream, I really don't see the need to stop eating low carb. It's too easy now and fat is falling off of me. 26 pounds in 6-7 weeks so far.

I usually do a "cheat meal" every 2 weeks on keto. Hasn't stalled progress yet
