Pulley for garage gym

Looking for something cheap to throw in the garage gym, I'm making sure the garage gym is something my wife is ready to commit to before spending money on nice gear.
Anyone ever used something like this Amazon link, and if so will it get the job done?
Curious if its just a junk or if its actually similar to some of the DIY Lowes gear stuff you see garagegymreviews make.

it will work fine. if it becomes a little rough, can replace the pulley with one nicer.

Wow, this is truly a game changer. I have been using bands for face pulls and pull downs. Might invest in something like this.

It’ll work great. I used an old pulley I had laying around, a piece of Mule tape and I piece of 1” PVC pipe for a couple of years.

I have a similar one and it works fine. But pulldows scare the shite out of me. Trusting some amazon cable to hold plates above my nuts is terrifying but I do it anyway
