Meniscus Surgery - what to expect

Getting my knee meniscus “cleaned up” from an old tear this week. Anyone with any experience in what to expect?
Recovery time? Timeframe till 100%? Pain? etc?

About a week recovery. Relatively painless, but I had a femoral block which I would recommend.

I put it off for a long time. Wish I had done it sooner now. I was back to normal in 3-4 days and no more pain at night or after exercising.

I was running in a week
Back to the gym in 2 weeks
Just take it easy for 2-3 days and you good
