I'll take krill oil and turmeric nightly. If I lift weights in the AM, then I'll take them in the PM.

Turmeric 1,000mg / day is a very strong anti-inflammatory and has done wonders for my knees.

I put Turmeric in my smoothies, maybe 3-4x/week. Fish oil about the same 3-4x/week (capsule during meal). Also THC a couple of times/week, not sure how much that helps compared to Turmeric and other more proven supplements.

iron

Was this recommended by a doctor? I've never heard of a man taking iron.

Zyflamend is the best, but maybe just try magnesium glycinate first.

I also was surprised to see Iron, that could even be a culprit. Most men are in danger of iron overload, not deficiency.

As I get older, I am having aches and pains that I didn't know existed. When I was 20, I was immune to soreness.

I actually have an iron deficiency due to my Crohn’s disease. I take iron daily and it keeps my levels normal.

I tried turmeric which supposedly has zero side effects. But it made my heart race and gave me palpitations.

Zyflamend is the best

Is that the name of the product? I could only find it sold by 1 company—New Chapter. And of the 10 ingredients, “zyflamend” is not listed.

Gaia brand Turmeric Supreme
Glucosamine sulfate 500 mg
The Lab J Flex
Fish oil a few x's / day
Recently started taking magnesium with evening meal

Do CrossFit 4-5 days / week, intense trail running and track workout every Thursday evening, and at the golf course just about every day the weather allows. No major aches other than expected muscle soreness associated with intensity of workouts.
