Having mine done tomorrow. Get to be off work for about two months. Might be worth it just for that. Jimmie Lalonde is doing my surgery.

I haven’t have Achilles surgery but if I did, Dr Lalonde would be the one to do it. He took great care of both my kids.

I did when I was a baby, but it didn’t work. My mom held me underwater in a river and everything.

Have fun with the post op pain, being non weight bearing, etc. I’d rather work than do that again.

I know someone that had it done then it got infected and had to have multiple surgeries to get that fixed. So, be as careful with it as possible.

Dr Lalonde did my ankle surgery back in April. 9 screws and a plate to fix broken Fibula. Everything went smoothly and no issues so far.
Be prepared for rehab to be slower than you expect. I’m 6 months post surgery and only around 80% or so. Non weight bearing for 8 weeks does a number on you. Range of motion and strength is pretty much gone after you get your cast off.

My friend, who's also my boss, did. And I had to shuttle his bitch arse around town for a couple of months; putting the little scooter into the truck. Taking the little scooter out of the truck. Putting it back it, taking it back out...
I need to ask for a raise.
Then, after he was able to get around on his own, my wife had reconstructive surgery on her foot, so I spent months shuttling her bitch arse around; putting the little scooter into the truck, taking it out...

Been home since yesterday. Pain was tolerable through this morning, then the nerve block wore off. I'm eating pain pills like skittles...
