I'm sure you'd take me with my game in its present state.

But what's your hdcp, best rd you've ever shot, and best rd in the last year?

My point was that your grip is completely immaterial to the fundamentals of swinging a club.

frick it, I'm already getting riduculed, a little more can't hurt.

I'd be about a 2 now, but haven't figured it in a few years. Best round last year was 71 E, lowest round ever was 67 -4 I think. But best round ever was shooting +6 on a PGA set up before the tourney.

Sure. You don't sound like you know what you're talking about, so I'm assuming your game is reflective of that. Unless you're a player who knows how to play but doesn't know shite about analysis, which is highly doubtful. You might get lucky and beat me on a few holes, but I am confident I come out ahead.

What makes you say that?

With a half stroke per hole, you certainly wouldn't come out ahead.

nvm... got you mixed up with the other guy. i'd play you 10/hole with no half stroke.

honest question, though... do you disagree with anything i've said?

He's the guy you responded to when you made the challenge. 2 people accepted. 2 times you backed down.

I think you are over simplifying it by equating a golf swing exactly with a baseball swing, but I understand (I think) what you mean.

other than the little nuances like lifting the foot off the ground, i contend that the body movement is exactly the same. i'm not talking about grip, alignment, or anything else that has to do with where you want the ball to go, just the motion itself.

backswing on plane with the ball
weigh shift/post on front leg
hip/leg turn
one piece upper body forward turn initiated by lower body
trail arm slightly bent at impact and full extension after

i think the problem is people making it more complicated than what it is. but yeah, it can be difficult to coordinate the body, but that doesn't mean it's complex

So I guess this is the part where we apply the rule of 3. So your best round was even par but you're "prob around a 2 handicap." ok

you do know handicap is not an average, but what you're capable of scoring, right?

btw... i'm still waiting for your explanation of how the golf swing is fundamentally different from the baseball swing.

I believe you have no fricking clue what you are talking about. And I also believe you are a fricking liar and a crawfish. Taking all of that into account.

I'll play you for $1,000/hole, but you better bring $18k in cash with you.

"Keep your head down"

The head coming up is usually the byproduct of a poor swing, not the cause of one.

They shouldn't be for maximum acceleration.

Low point after ball (both arms extended), hit ball first. Thought this was common knowledge.

Ok, you've lost me now. Grip is most important due to anatomy. Read a book (preferably Ben hogans 5 fundamentals).
