id imagine that the dry weather has had some sort of an effect on growth of grass. Note: I am not an agronomist and i’m just guessing that’s the reason

September. Drought has slowed it down.

Did they happen to add any type of driving range or something like Webb has ?? Pretty much my only gripe with Copper is a lack practice area.. and hole 12

I think they've built houses on the only available area large enough for true practice.

I'll be damn happy when they open, i've been itching to play there all summer.

I got an email this morning. Here’s the website. The Copper Card is interesting. Seems like a preferred guest kind of thing.

Played Copper Mill today. Was not impressed with the greens but the G.P.S. carts are nice. Probably should have not opened for a couple of weeks. Also was $75 today was not expecting that.

Needs rain. It's not even close to being where it needs to be . It will get there if Mother Nature does its part .

Played it Sunday morning and I forgot that teeing off on #1 early in the morning kinda sucks looking directly into the sun..

A few things as some one who lives. there. We ordered new equipment over a year ago and still haven’t received it from Deere. So when that comes in conditions will only improve.

We have had record heat and no rain. That set back the time line of the grow in. We have a bigger well pump on order as well. Right now the well can keep up with green irrigation but not watering the whole course daily.

The new superintendent started about three weeks ago. He will start adjusting heads on the sprinklers to not hit the fridges so much. He can’t get equipment on some areas because the fridges are so wet. It will take time to get where we want it but I see it moving in the right direction.

Greens fees are up with a purpose of hopefully getting less daily players and more members or loyalty card holders. This was the plan put forward by the new management company.

Overall I see a path where it’s going to return to a great track. We have other projects coming only to enhance the experience.

Hopefully it's more practice areas.. that speck of a putting green and the lob wedge range ain't gonna cut it..

So for the third time copper mill has carts with GPS. They didn't learn the first two times that it wasnt worth the money.

I remember when just about every course had gps carts then none had them

Homeowner out at Copper, and truly appreciate the feedback from everyone. It's been a tough summer with no rain and the equipment still not being in, but we are trying like heck to get the course back to the glory days.

The GPS was added in not only for the guest to have a better experience when playing, but also as a measure to stop carts from driving next to greens and destroying the area. Thus the carts turn off if they get inside the designated area. We want everyone to have the best experience possible but also protect the investment we made which the GPS system enables us to do. The system also allows guest to order food or bev before they get to the turn so they don't have to wait. Really hope to have you out and again, appreciate your feedback.

Webb installed a netted hitting area. Would be good for copper to have something like that since no range.

Warming with full swings makes a big difference.

If they could swing it, a few trackman in the warm up area
