What are some good courses for people trying to break 80?

In New Orleans, I would imagine Lakewood and Bayou Oaks.
In Baton Rouge, Beaver Creek.
What else can you think of for your area/neck of the woods?

Not technically a golf course.*
But, good call.
More of a milf museum/observatory.*

Copper mill. If that placed had a range and didn't have to go out ice cold then the course could produce some low scores

Aka Bell Terrible. Sorry. No Pete Dye course is eligible for the purposes of this thread/list.
Thank you NC17 (aka the white Steve Urkel).

Bartholomew, it's open and fairly short. It's always in decent shape. I think it's one of the most underrated courses in the New Orleans area.

Gonna try and pull a stop here on my drive back to the Southeast in October. Maybe Sand Hills as well.

If the greens are in good shape and the rough is up, BC is not the place you want to be to break 80!
I would say in Baton Rouge...LSU is your best bet, you can play from 4 fairways over (except the last three holes)

Bartholomew,
This is probably your best bet.
From the tips it only plays 6,800 yards with a rating of 72.2 and a slope of only 123. If the greens are halfway decent you should have a fair chance of cracking 80.

This is about the only way a 80's shooter that has a tendency to spray a ball OB a couple times in a round or maybe push it into trees that although it might not be OB but still have shots blocked where you have no option but to just punch it out.
One course I can think of that is forgiving like that is Grey Plantation in Lake Chuck. Lots of holes you can miss it into another fairway and still have shots with no penalty for bad accuracy.

Location of the lowest tournament round I ever shot (74).
Around here it's Frenchman's Bend.
