Some buddies and I are heading to Cali for the Open in June. Trying to play 3 courses. Staying in San Fran a couple nights. Playing Half Moon Bay and then heading down to play Pasatiempo. Looking for a 3rd course. Board have any suggestions?

You could play Pacific Grove. “The Poor Man’s Pebble”

It’s right out on the tip of the Monterrey peninsula.

Bodega Bay

Not as manicured as Half Moon and Pasatiempo but still nice. Sorta tucked away on the coast. Relatively cheap.
The site lines are awesome over the Bay from holes on the top of the hill.

Pacific Grove and Bodega are good recs. Bayonet in Monterey is a nice course too.

Pasatiempo is a fun, quirky old school track. Those greens may be the closest you’ll ever get to putting on the greens at Augusta. Unfortunately they F’ed up the front 9 with over development.
