Played The Wetlands and it was in great shape. Was pretty busy but pace of play was good. No food or beverage, but you can bring your own cooler (no alcohol).

Just found out that The Wetlands is running a special. $30.00 green fee and cart starting at noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

So... you can bring your own food and drink b/c they aren’t selling.... but, you can’t drink a cold beer on the course?! Did I read that right?

Yes. I doubt anyone is checking. I just wouldn’t sit in the back porch and drink beer.

We talked about going out there... making the trip in from BR, that’s why I was asking. If I can’t drink a beer on the course on a Saturday, I’m out.

Be forewarned, Wetlands was always packed in a Saturday before the shutdown. It’s going to suck out there for a while.

Yeh... texted my buddy in Laffy, he said the same thing. Played Atchafalaya last Saturday, we may make that run again.

Is Cane Row the old Squirrel Run?

It was my first time out there... even my buddy in Laffy hasn’t played out there. I enjoyed the course. I didn’t really care for the switch in scenery from woods and swamp to ball parks...

Fairways were in pretty good shape, the greens need another week probably, to get right. They were still a tad sandy. They were soft though. We were sticking shite on the greens all day. Bunkers are unplayable. Also, the range is closed.

We would’ve made the ride back this Saturday, but they were booked up until 10:40. We’ve been getting away with playing every weekend, so best not to push the times with the ladies.

It’s just a different course than what we usually play out here. It was a nice change. I’m still dialing in these PXG 0211s, so I had a couple blow ups. I ended up with a 92 with 3 bad holes.

We played The Wetlands today. That place drains great, it was 90 degrees today after all that rain. Has anyone played The Farm lately?

Played today also. Course in great shape but the greens are hard due to lack of water. Get there earlier than your tee time. Takes awhile to get a cart.
