Slow is smooth, smooth is fast

Anybody else go with this old adage? Seems like a good mantra, almost Asian in origin.

Does anybody else try to pause, and cup at the top? How can you fix this?

Has to be. It's passive aggressive and doesn't work well in large crowds.

I guarantee you more people would play better golf if they played by this. It took shattering a collarbone to slow me down and I've been playing more consistent golf ever since. Putting is still atrocious

For years,and years, my dad always told me, low and slow on the takeaway, and wait on the club at the top, don't be in such a hurry to hit the ball, swing the club, don't swing at then ball.

You have to find the tempo and rhythum that's right for you that's what is a key for me

I swing as hard as possible. It works great for 90 to 100 shots a round. Great exercise.
